Can't decide new 18' A5 SB or used 16' A7
I am having a hard time deciding. Wish the A5 came with nicer colors without having to custom order. I have always liked Quartz gray and Tornado gray.
The Florett silver to light and Monsoon gray to dark do not seem to accentuate the lines enough on the A5 looks to Fusion or Accord like.
Has anyone here had both an A7 and an A5 that could share some thoughts. I guess I could always wait for the 2019 A5's and see what they offer from
a color choice.
Thanks

Doesn't look like it really matters if anyone has had both, since you are concerned about colors, just drive to the dealer and see for yourself. I think they are both beautiful cars, but I prefer the interior on the B9 generation, and that would be the deciding factor to me.

Sounds like color is your primary "need" in the car so get whichever car has the color you want?
For me it's a lot about the tech and the tech in the 2018 A5 is significantly better than a 2016 A7 (virtual cockpit, CarPlay etc) so its a no brainer to get a 2018 or newer model.

The major downside is the current A7 has been replaced with a new body style; and the new A7 has incredible tech! Most of which is shared with the new A5.
An older A7 will be cool, sure. But it will be badly dated once the new ones arrive Stateside.

Thanks for all the replies and opinions.
More tech on top of tech is not always better. The interior of the new A7 is really going in the wrong direction for me. Seems like all manufactures are developing a dislike for human physical interaction by creating more switch less interiors.

I guess if it were me, and you would be happy with either car then I would definitely go with the A7 for the simple reason that it will be a better values since it has already depreciated.
