Default Can't fault Quattro.

I have to say, I am very impressed with how well Quattro handles adverse conditions. It was POURING rain this morning here in MD and there were puddles left and right. Coupled with the stability control system, the car handled it no problems at all. It was actually fun driving it somewhat harder in the rain. Granted, it was 5:00 AM and the roads were clear. Very impressed with the Quattro system. I don't remember my previous xDrive cars or even 4Matic cars being so neutral in adverse conditions like that.

Driving in snow this past winter was a piece of cake.

Well I can.

My previous car had the equivalent (SH-AWD) of the optional sport differential on the S-series. Definitely less understeer.

Unfortunately, because I wanted the car quickly (still took a month ), I couldn't get it. Otherwise I would have checked out that 2K option.

If I drove on twisty empty roads every day I would have considered it. But for 2K, when pretty much the only times I get to step on the gas is to pass or start from a red light, it didn't seem like a cost-effective option.

The s sport packge for $2000 comes with the mechanical torque vectoring rear diff., red brake calibers and adaptive suspension. That is a lot for the money.

My car understeers significantly too. Too much weight over the front. Can’t defy the laws of physics.

I honestly can’t wait! Going to have to switch out the summer rubber.

That's you guys. In Canada, they wanted like $2000 just for the sport diff.

The Sport differential is almost too good IMHO. It does SEEM to defy the laws of physics. One ( at least I) does have to adapt to it though. When cornering hard that rear torque vectoring almost makes it feel as if the rear is breaking loose. (drifting). You have to train yourself to trust it. Not something we use much in typical street driving. Magic in the twisties or at the track though. I would never buy an Audi without it.
