Ceramic Coating - Waiting Period?

Ceramic Coating - Waiting Period?
I've had a couple of people mention to me that it's best to wait for the paint to cure at least 6 months out of the factory before applying ceramic coating. I've also had some people tell me that it's not the case with Audi paint and it can be coated right away. Any definitive info on this anywhere?

Coated right away along with clear bra and window tint Only thing I was told is the car had to set two days Inside and then no washing until the 7 day cure was up.

You can put a ceramic coating on as soon as you drive off the lot. Once the coating is on, the car has to stay dry for about a week if it's in the garage, and about three to four days if it sits in direct sunlight.

JBD, your car looks wonderful!
Mojo, cars are cured in ovens at the factory. No need to wait unless you had some port paint touch-up/repair.

Perhaps two months after purchasing my '19 Corvette Grand Sport, I had PPF put on partially for the hood and fenders, full front, and side mirrors. I then had the Ceramic Pro treatment on the entire car and wheels off application. This included covering the PPF with the ceramic coating. The car never looks dirty and never has to be waxed and polished.

I did a ceramic coat on mine right after it was delivered, which was about 2 months from date of manufacture. All good.

What is approximate cost of a ceramic coating?
What is approximate cost of PPF on an A5 SB?
if these products are so good why doesn't the factory consider them as an option?
