Default Google Earth/Google Street View going away...?

Asked this question here before and asked my salesman, awaiting his response:

Twice in the '18 brochure it mentions that these two services MAY NOT be available after December 2017...what exactly does that mean?

This is one of the coolest features on the car...does anyone have any insider information if it'll remain or be gone?

I found this thread with some speculation about what will happen in another forum -- I wasn't aware of this until you pointed it out (so thanks for pointing it out!):

In looking at the live verbiage on the Audi USA website, it seems they have changed the date:
Online services are subject to change. Google Earth™ services may not be available after December 2020.

I got the option of updating the map, but I dismissed it because I was in the middle of something else. Does anyone know the command route to restart the update?

Thanks for that answer and the other responses...makes me feel much better since I'd hate to see that feature go away.

My lease ends a few months before. June 2020 so should have Google Earth all the way through!

I think he is asking what wheels are on your car but I can see they are the optional 18" 5 arm star design wheels that come with the S-line.
