Default Has anyone removed the Audi rings from there trunk lid?

I was thinking about removing the chrome Audi rings from the trunk lid . I think it would look better !? Anyone with Mythos Black removed the rings? If so., would you share a pic.?

thanks, Troy!

I blacked out the rings & the RS5 badge on a Daytona Gray car. Looks fantastic. Losing the rings seems almost sacrilegious....

There's a pic on my profile gallery.

Yes — A little heat, some 10lb. fishing line and residue remover and you’ll have your chrome rings off.

I replaced mine with the black Audi rings as well as the blacked out S5 logo and it looks great.

I removed my rings but haven't installed the black ones yet on my Quantum Gray S5 sportback - I can get a picture if you're interested. I also removed the S5 badge...

I debadged mine a while back to properly ceramic coat the trunk lid. This is one of the photos i took. You can still see the swirling of the goo-gone i used to remove the adhesive, but you get the idea.

Would you mind sharing a pic of this? I have the same color and year and wondering how this looked. Thanks.

Thank You. I debated about completely de-badging the rear after removing both the stock S5 logo and chrome rings but thought it looked a little to naked. Some people like that look but with the blackout rings and emblem, I thought it looked better.
