Haunted lumbar support

My lumbar support is set moderately hard. After sitting for more than a few hours, it consistently inflates after the car has been running for four minutes. Doesn't seem to reinflate after that, but I tend to use the massage function on trips longer than a couple of hours

My ‘19 S5 sport back does the same. It seems to be linked to the engine temp. When it’s cold, and the redline is 5500, it’s not inflated. When it warms up and moves to 6700 redline it seems to inflate...

Just to add to the count, mine does also. As another poster mentioned, don’t really mind but I’d like to know why.

I'll add mine to the list as well. I haven't noticed the side bolsters changing but my lumbar almost seems like it's on a VERY light massage setting kneading in and out. It seems to be more noticeable on really hot days. The normal inflation after 5 mins I got used to but this weird "always moving" sensation is annoying! If I want a massage, I'll turn on the massage! Lol
