High frequency engine squeal in 2018 S5 SB
Has anyone else noticed a slight squeeling/chirping noise from the engine, at low engine rpm?
Its very feint and I can only hear it with the windows down on soft throttle. Very annoying!

Does the squealing or chirping noise increase or decrease in frequency as you rev the engine or is it constant regardless of engine speed?

Hmm...
I google searched the problem you’re experiencing and stumbled up this thread, as the same thing is happening to my 2018 A4 with the 2.0T (Quattro, PP Trim). It’s gotten louder over the past week of ownership, with only 200 miles on the vehicle. It sounds like squeaking belts, and is super noticeable. I plan on asking the dealer about it, but any updates on the issue? Has it subsided? You have a different engine, so it’s curious why we’re both hearing it...

I have this issue in my A5 SB. Seems to be mainly in 1st/2nd/3rd gears and while up/down shifting.
It’s not super loud but audible. Trying to get used to it, I dread what the diagnosis and repair process might be like At the dealership.

As everyone else says.... turn up the music and you wont even know it's there lol... I am taking my Q5 to a different dealer and see what they say.
