... on the S5, the startup MMI splash screen says "S5" and yet it shows an A5. Just sayin'. Art department just didn't have it in them to put in S-car graphics? I'm sure someone complained about the 3D car in the MMI already, on the S5 and RS5

The RS is the same. They don't even have a RS manual either. Kind of lame IMHO.

No, the S5 is a different model. Variant is the different trims within a single car model. You can argue that the S5 could have been a A5 variant but it's not.

It does show 5 doors. But they don't bother putting in a distinct A5/S5/RS5 splash screen or 3D model. Not like they don't have access to models, the website people obviously have detailed 3D models for the build-your-car function.

On the Lambo Urus MMI they put a 3D model of the Urus in your color, with your specific wheels. I guess it's just a question of budget, but come on, it's not that much effort.
