II have an iphone X running 12.1 with 2015 S3 MMi is Nav plus. I know its not the same phone but it pairs every time no issue.
What I don't like is it auto plays music when I get in the car, I have not found an option in IOS or MMI to have it not do that except for muting it
once it starts.

So, I have an iPhone XS Max running 12.1.4 and I still have intermittent connection issues with Bluetooth (Phone won't connect as an audio source) and now it also disconnects from time to time and says that a media source has been selected as the audio source when connected with bluetooth. Dad isn't having any kind of issues in his Mercedes. :/ Sis isn't having issues in her BMW. *Sigh*
