Default Junk in your trunk.

I'm heading home to Western PA tomorrow (from Portland). It's amazing how much stuff I can get in this coupe.

The car was a pleasure on the way out. I expect the same on the way home.

Nice, impressive for a coupe! Sportback even more so...I slept in it!

Have any compare the cargo space between the coupe and the SB?

The Sportback is listed as having 22 cubic feet of storage with the back seats up, whereas the coupe has 11.6. However, in practice, the two should be much closer because not all of the Sportback's space is usable with the steep rake of the rear window. In fact, C&D tested both and the real-world cargo capacity was almost identical. Interestingly, I have been considering a Macan in addition to the Sportback, and C&D found that it can hold the exact same number of carry-ons as the Sportback, eliminating any sort of practicality benefit for me.

I slept in mine, too. Just not as comfortably.

I did not take pics, but I am amazed on the amount of space in the A5. Every site I found talks about cargo cubic space, but not real life items.

I went to Costco and picked up a new TV, put the seats down and slid the box in with room to spare. The box dimensions: Length - 35 inches; Width - 56.9 inches
The next day I grabbed a 6 FT ladder. Put the split seat down, moved up the front passenger a little bit and placed the ladder in. All 6 FT feet easily.

I don't plan on hauling stuff but it is good to know how much can fit.

box dimensions seem like it might be a 55-60” but TVs are measured on the diagonal, so maybe not. Interested because I want to buy a new HDR capable 65” TV soon and assumed I’d need to use the Q5.

The Avant/Q5 cargo area is 40” wide and the Sportback is the same, but the opening is narrower at window level. So you might be able to fit the same 40” wide box as long as it doesn’t bump up against that narrow part.
