MMI Connect and Sportback
MMI Connect on my smartphone can interrogate my car and find out various conditions, such as whether the doors are locked or unlocked. Why can’t MMI Connect tell me whether the Sportback is open or closed?

The iPhone app knows when the trunk is open or closed or locked or unlocked BUT calls it a DOOR. This is even while it highlights in red the trunk.... The iPhone app also lists the hood open or closed.
Online, when logged into myaudi, it also knows if the trunk is open or closed or locked or unlocked. It calls this a boot lid. Online the hood is a bonnet, and it knows if it is open or closed.
Yes, I am very much in the USA.
