New gremlin located in the liftback
I have owned my SB since July 2017, have 25k miles and have enjoyed owning this one. This is my second S5. I bought my first Audi in 1981- 4000E. A friend asked me the other day if I still liked the car. I do like it but it surprises me from time to time with quirky behavior.
Recently my trunk/liftback has been closing without my input. I can be loading or unloading and suddenly it just closes. The key is in my pocket and my feet are not near the sensors under the rear of the car. Anyone else experiencing this one?

Had that happen to me about 4 times now. Usually I can stop it, but once I tried to stop it from going down and it wouldn't, nearly crushing 3 of my $400 fishing rods.

Are you sure you aren't waving or placing your foot under the back bumper to activate the automatic lift/close???
If you place your foot under the bumper it can likely activate it automatically, as you describe - but I would imagine there should be a pinch sensor....

This makes me glad the Coupé doesn’t have the power close function.
