OK. I place an order on a Lotus Emira with the AMG I4 DCT last Oct, Was given a July 24 due date and then in Dec Lotus announced that with the delay on the V6 US introduction (the V6 manual have finally started arriving at dealer a couple weeks ago). V6 Auto and I4 delivery won't start until Jan 25 and with mine being the 2nd production batch, it'll probably be Mar/Apr 25 before I see my car.. What a bummer. Then this happened on Friday. The first picture is what I'm getting, the other 2 is to show how the color changes from indoor to being outdoor in the sun. Almost look like 2 separate color.

I heard that Emira are finally arriving at west coast dealers. I pinged mine just to see if their in-house demo have arrived and if I can get a longer test drive. Took them a couple days to get back to me as they got in 20 cars in 4 shipment last week. Turns out their in-house demo is nowhere to be found as Lotus is shipping them out of sequence but during the conversation, I asked about if they're expecting any cancellation since the first batch of orders were back in 2021 and I'm hoping that some of the depostor have moved on to something else. Turn out that they did have 3 depositor that have either gotten another car, moved, had kids and those cars are available. One was actually 95% to the spec that I was going to place on the final V6 production run in a few years.(which I did place another deposit on). SO I got them to agree to swap my order so I would get the V6 manual now and my I4 order will be move to the final I4 production run in a few years. we got the paperwork started so I should have it home by mid week.

Yes, I'm keeping my RS5.

Wow. My son and I were in London last summer and walked past a Lotus dealership. We gawked at a yellow one of these for a few minutes. I was back in London in March of this year and they had one sitting there that I suspect was the same color as the photo's you are showing. Please come back and update this thread with your experience with the car.

Been a busy day and finally got it home. I know it's a tight squeeze and I was worried that I have to back the RS5 out of the Garage to get in or out but I managed to squeeze out of it ok, will see if my back or legs get sore after a days 😁

Nice car! Were you at the BBQ last weekend for AGSV? I couldn't make it, unfortunately.

No but I've been asked to bring it to the next meet in the area, I'm in San Jose / Cupertino area. It's going in for a full Xpel wrap next week so won't get it back till Thursday.
