My Turbo Blue S5 arrived this weekend! The color is amazing, pics don’t do it justice. People literally have stopped me at the gas station to talk about the car already. As delivered- I asked them no to prep or touch the paint. They asked me 5 times if I was sure??? Prep commencing at home All clean and sealed Love the new MMI Rotor gray Nappa. My wife and I made some changes this summer. Her lease on a '17S6 was up and we grew tired of my Cayman 718. Your blue S5 SB reminds me of my wife's '20 S5 SB Prestige. It has turned to be a fantastic car. In terms of power, it's a sleeper. I hope you enjoy yours.

What tired you about the 718, getting in and out or listening to others complain about the same? Or was it the engine?
It was great car, but like all Caymans and 911s, the tire noise is is just over the top. I just got tired of it. I replaced it with a '19 RS5 Coupe. Fantastic car. Totally quiet cruising at any speed. But, when you manually downshift the transmission and allow the car to be in it's power range ( scary fast ), the engine noise is fantastic. I am 68yo, and the Cayman, while fun hammering through the hills in Amador and Placer Cos. in CA, I just got tired of the noise and everything else about Porsches , and I have owned a lot of them. I belonged to PCA in the late '80s and early 90s and the events were really fun. But today, it's become a style point group ( like does your GT3 have a manual trans?). I have owned 2 912s, a 914 2.0, 3 944s, 2 911 Carreras, and a Carrera 2. And then 25 years later, I bought a 718 Cayman that was 10 times the car my earlier Porsches were. But I did not feel comfortable with the current scene. Sorry to be so blunt.

Do they make a grill with the "QUATTRO" in it that is not black? I think the black would look out of place on my Navarra blue S5 w/ all the silver trim in the rest of the bumper and mirror caps...

Just took a look. Something I don't feel like messing with.
Seems as though you have to glue your front camera into the new grille and some PDC sensors will not clearance the front crash bar...
