Resale - Modded v Stock

Resale - Modded v Stock
Thinking of selling my modded 18’ B9 S5-SB.
This is the first time I have modded the car (just to mention a few: wheels, tires, suspension, piggyback and downpipe). ~ 12K miles currently. I know if I want to trade in I’ll need to remove the mods... the question is: would it be better from an ROI stand point to go private sale the car with mods or go stock and resell the mods in the market?
I won’t be able to use any of the current mods in the new car (more on that later).

I have always had modded cars and got at least 70% of my investment back.
Doing smart modifications yourself to save on labor is key though.
Paying $700 for a carbon air intake, $2,500 for a AWE catback, $2,500 for a ABT piggyback, $3,000 for OEM European headlights, $700 for OEM S5 cabriolet headrests, etc.
Those are all cool mods and all, but you will never see that money again. Never.
