Default RS5: first track day

I've got a bone stock '18 RS5 coupe w/ceramic brakes. Finally got to try it on the race track yesterday. It was really a dream (compared to my previous track time in my '13 S4), and all that torque going into the straights is a beautiful thing. Cornering was quite decent, however you can feel the weight of the car. With that said, if you can keep it properly balanced, nice and smooth, it handled very well.

On the track, I tend to be very enthusiastic on the brakes. I found that going from top out acceleration to full on breaking at the end of the straight, I smelled brake material and my brakes began to fade a bit. They would quickly recover if I went easy for a bit of the lap, but I'm wondering if there is any form of upgrade I can do. I tried looking at Pagid racing brake pads, but they only have pads for the B8 RS5. Not having much luck finding pads for this car anywhere, short of OEM.

1. Has anybody tracked their RS5 coupe? How did you find the brakes to perform?
2. Are there any good after market brake pads that can handle the temperature a bit better?
3. What other brake upgrades are out there for the RS5?

You should check out the thread over on Audizine by member named Teknikka. He tracks his RS5 regularly and had discussed brake issues at length.

I checked out that thread... unfortunately it looks like there are no aftermarket pads, and he’s about in the same position as me Will have to wait if he manages to get that high performance brake part vendor to create them for this car.
