SD Card Issue

2017 A4. 32G SD card. Put music on it but much of the music on it is not displayed by the MMI when I go to play it. What is the problem?

Are you exceeding the number-of-file limits at the bottom of the table on pg. 245 of the manual?

Are all of your music files MP3? Or are they mixed? If mixed ensure the file formats for the tracks that are missing are compatible.

I had this happen to me as well. For me, it was because some of the music files were in m4p format which is protected. I bought a converter to remove drm info and save them as m4a format. Audi MMI will not recognize m4p music. I would check your music format because you could be running into the same issue

I will have to go back and count the number of songs - I do know that I am using about 9 Gig of the card. Not sure of the music formats. My IPod Classic is not recognized by this car. All the songs I have on the card I downloaded from ITunes (Same content as my IPod Classic).
