Too bad you didn’t get Greer delivery. Half day track time at Greer. THEIR car, similar to yours.

I'm in Canada, the SC delivery isn't available to us.

I'm pretty sure it was discontinued for non-X models, even for US residents.

Yup.

https://bmwperformancecenter.com/delivery/

Can I take delivery of any BMW at the Performance Center?
Currently, only BMWs assembled at our Spartanburg plant can be delivered here. They include the X3, X4, X5, X6, X7 and XM.

PCD was put on hold, hopefully not forever (for non-SC built vehicles). Even though I couldn't have done it anyways, it's a cool option. At least they still have European Delivery if you have deep pockets.

My 2021 RS5 lease was due in Jan so I extended it for 6 months to July. which would have been perfect before Lotus delayed my Emira for 6 months to Jan 2025. I was thinking about buying it off at lease end anyways since I structured my lease so my buy off will be a bit under market (just in case). Also, the Ascari Launch SB is pretty unique. Although Ascari Blue is now available for the RS5 but the performance package no longer offer ceramic brakes so there'll ever only be 100 Ascari Blue SB with ceramic brakes. Then 2 weeks ago, I got a new toy to play with. I worked out a timeshare on a 2024 Cayman S since the owner unexpectedly have to be overseas for the next year except for 2 1/2 weeks between late Sept and early Oct. Now all I need is for the weather to clear up.

BMW terminated their European Delivery program before Audi and then Mercedes followed suit. Did I miss something? From what I can find it was terminated in Canada as well. I got mine in with Mercedes just in time before the pandemic and then they killed it.

Never looked into it, but just assumed it was still alive (had only heard about PCD only allowing deliveries of the SC built X models - for now). If ED is gone as well, that sucks. I guess that leaves Porsche?

Yes, Porsche still has ED.

Audi cancelled ED in 2018, BMW and Mercedes followed and cancelled theirs in May and October 2020 respectively.

Again, chaos? Not sure about that...PR machine? Lol
