One of the reasons l traded my 2015 RS5 was that it does not have adaptive suspension. The ride was not pleasant on roads with some bumps. Living at 8k ft above sea level in Aspen the supercharged S4 and turbo S5 feel about as fast as naturally aspirated 450 hp 2015 RS5. The new RS5 with turbo has 425 hp but about 100 more ft lbs of torque. That is a significant difference!
the adaptive sports suspension on out 2018 S5 prestige cab has a smoother ride in Dynamic mode than the RS5. And li seems like the comfort setting is even softer than the comfort setting on our 2014 S4. The S4 has something less than the 19” wheels on the S5. But that should make the S5 ride harsher but it is not. Thw S4 feels more planted to me. Perhaps the body flex of the cab is why but l have not noticed any cowl shake yet.
the individual setting in dynamic in everything except the suspension is in comfort. This is both for the S4 and the S5.
