Subwoofer and Amplifier Plug and Play cables
Subwoofer plug and play cables
My work has been crazy through the lock down period but I finally managed to get the parts and find the time to make up some subwoofer plug and play cables. These have been made for fellow forum members.
These cables give you an input to your aftermarket subwoofer amplifier without having to the cut the car's harness or use wire taps. It also allows you to decide if you want to run the existing subwoofer in parallel or disconnected.
The cable simply plus in between the car's harness and the OEM subwoofer and access to the wiring is via the terminal block. The terminal block is a two part plug in version that allows you to make up your connections separately and plug in when ready. It also allows you to quickly disconnect your aftermarket amplifier while keeping the OEM subwoofer connected.
Can be used on either B&O or Audi Sound System, stock stereo systems because all 4 wires are connected.

3 of the 4 sets you see in the picture have already been spoken for. I have one spare set, in case anyone is interested. PM me for details.

I am now adding people to a waiting list and if there is sufficient demand, I will order up some more parts to make up these cables. So add your name here, if you are interested.

They are the wire ended plug-in 2 part terminal blocks. So the green connector can be separated from the harness without needing to unscrew the wires from the connector on either end. It allows you to disconnect your aftermarket amplifier/subwoofer and keep the OEM one connected. I can quite easily add any type of connector/terminal blocks including the WAGO style spring clamp ones. But I deliberately stayed away from the automotive style ones because they often need crimping tools etc, which people may not have.
