Default Map Issues

Anyone notice their maps sending them to locations further than they need to?
Searched for an AutoZone to familiarize myself with the features with the navigation system and it said the nearest one was 7 miles away when I know there was one only a mile away.

Thought it was a glitch but the same thing happened this morning... searched for a toy r us and knew there was one on the next Main Street over (about 2 miles away) and it said the nearest was 21 miles away.

Any ideas?

Happened to me too. If you use the "Online Search" feature it works way better.

The built-in POI database is rather incomplete and out of date. It's been for years. Businesses come and go and an offline POI database will always be problematic. As mentioned, you are much better off if you look for a place via Google Search. You can just use voice command. Say "Google Search AutoZone" or anything Google Local Voice search understands.

Ok will definitely give Google Search a try. Hopefully they'll update it soon.
