Default Traffic Sign recognition - Plus?

There are two places in my area that the speed limit indicator symbol (in the MMI) and the ACC speed change where there are no speed limit signs. Is this phantom change being picked up from outdated map or nav data? I thought it was only triggered by the windshield camera recognizing a traffic sign.

Yeah, it sucks..

Because where I live, the default out of city speed limit is 90 km/h and some roads are 110 km/h especially in the summer wider roads.. there's a sign with 110 every now and then, but still the speed limit display results to 90, and it's extra annoying with adaptive cruise control with speed correction enabled, where every time it jumps down to 90 km/h in the 110 zone, which happens every minute..

Drove me crazy and I disabled the adaptive cruise control from caring about the speed limit.

Now I just have the flashing badge, which I don't want to disable from flashing, because in most places it's good to now and be aware of when I'm speeding

The system uses the speed limit captured by the camera when there is something to capture, and the GPS / mapping data when there is not. The GPS data is assumed as the default data source, camera recognition is primarily intended to pick up temporary road works or weather related speed reductions. There are always going to be certain combinations or lag in updating map data that can catch these systems out. It would be nice if there was some way to update the car's own database in these situations, but I'm not aware any system that allows this.
