Woo Hoo!
Gone into production...won't be long now!
"Dear Mr. Lipori,
Today, much more than anticipation is being built.
Your Audi S5 has gone into production. You’ve reached an important milestone, and delivery of your S5 is getting closer.
I’ll contact you again when your vehicle is in transit to the European port of Emden.
From there, your S5 will start its journey to the United States.
While you’re waiting, you can read about legendary Audi fit and finish, which has become the modern standard.
If you have any questions about your S5 as it's being produced, please feel free to contact me at any time."
Sincerely,
Tyson Lane

Mine was 3 months from production... Went to production 8/4 and is scheduled to arrive San Diego port this weekend. Then another week to the dealer for pick up.
Don't worry, the waiting gets easier.

Another update by Vincenzo Francis...this guy is really on the ball!
Looks like I will have an early Christmas present, lol!
Hello Mr. Lipori,
I wanted to check in and provide you with a weekly status report. We are still on track for the vehicle to complete production on the 27th and right now the approximate ETA for the vessel to leave port and head for the states is the 5th of November. Based on my experience, you should have the vehicle in your possession before the end of the year. I will check back in next Monday after the vehicle completes production and we can potentially determine what vessel it is going to be loaded onto. Hopefully you are having a great Monday thus far!
