Default '05 4.2L Prem pkg. allroad 13,200 miles loaded up the wazoo. Value?

I found an allroad that looks to be pretty clean. Assuming there is no damage and it checks out well, I figure this would be a good place to ask??? I think it's pretty much completely loaded. Silver, premium pkg. w/ nav, cold weather, Bose, sunroof etc.

They are asking $47,999. I think that's at least $5K high.....Is it?

according to NADA, depending on where you live

Average Trade-In Average Retail
Base Price $34,200 $38,775
Mileage - 13,200 miles $1,275 $1,275
Options
Bose Stereo System (Std. A8) $450 $500
Navigation System (Std. A8) $850 $950
Power Sunroof (Std. A6 Sedan 4.2, A8) $700 $800
TOTAL PRICE $37,475 $42,300*
* This Average Retail price is based on a clean vehicle history report. Don't make a $42,300 mistake. Get a Vehicle History Report today.

that said I think that your prolly $8000 high. At $40K it's a good deal, at $48K not a deal $42-44K is retail. I would have to LOVE the car for that.

Default Can you pull 02-05 6speed 2.7s with under 50k miles on that thing?

Default It was an auction car bought by a Dodge dealer.

I looked at it just an hour ago. If it was in better shape with a verifiable history then I'd have been interested. It was Atlas gray. They've had it for a few months and the owner of the dealership put nearly 6K on it since he bought it at auction.

Default And the steering had no feel whatsoever and...

the suspension felt very flat like the shocks were dead. Problem with the air suspension perhaps?

Default allroad steering is a bit light compared to my S6. Pulling relay firms up assist, but feel

is what it is. Not sure what the suspension thing means, but you'll find the right car. That one is too expensive, that's the dealer's problem. They're rare, though. Low miles on that car. Have another AW member with a similar car check it out, or drive that person's car - maybe the ar is not what you really want?

I haven't driven an Audi since my B5 S4. I expected steering to feel somewhat like that.

Default IMHO, don't have to worry about it

At least in my case. Know for sure my Vette and S4 can pull them...and I don't have to worry about blown turbos or oil leaks on my 4.2 ar. With the H-Sports on, it does just fine. :-)
