Default I used to run the Euro specs in the door...IIRC 39 front 41 rear but now with the Kumho's I'm

running a little higher due to suggestions from ex-Pz and some others here...about 42 all around and it seems fine...you really have to do what is right for the tire that you are running, but I don't know that I'd go under the door specs if it were me.

Default run what the tires themselves say..or a bit under subjet to...

how you drive, your comfort, wear, etc.

The PSI on the car is for the original Allroad tires only.

Daily: 34/34 on the 245/50-17's. More like 37/37 on road trips with the whole family and luggage.

Default The psi on the tires is a maximum allowable pressure. Don't use it to set your pressures...

...except to simply not exceed it.

Default Exactly right. Tires don't come with pressure recommendations, that's set by the car manufacturer

based on the weight of the vehicle, the weight distribution of the vehicle front to back, even the suspension. Run what Audi recommends since they put a lot of thought and effort into arriving at those values.
