Dealer said they've never had anyone ask before. And any other "hidden" service I should ask for? Front pads are pretty low but prolly not low enough for replacement. Rear pads and rotors were done at 42K and are fine. Have a squeak in RF suspension on cold mornings so we'll look at the control arms. On my recent cross country drive over the holidays, a couple of times when I stopped for fuel, I smelled burning oil, but after 7000 miles since last service, only down about a quart. But everything else has been fine.

Find and local INDY.. this weekend for an once over..
I'd get it on the lift with a light and loor around the aft end of the engine, tranny, diffs, CV joints, etc. ANY oil staining, not only drips should be pointed out to Audi service. CHeck the steering componets in the air as well.
IIRC one person did get the brake flush. If you can document that it is an Audi reccomended service (in the book) then they have to do it.

Thanks Paul...
Had the car up on a lift a couple of weeks ago and everything looked pretty good. Nice and dry. I'll get the car up tomorrow and revisit one more time. But your suggestion gave me an idea. Thanks

Nothing major....
got me thinking that I should get the guys at GRD (local tuner shop) to put my car up on Saturday. They are the ones who bulit my RS6 exhaust and we need to make one slight adjustment to it so timing to do both might be opportune.

Just checked Maintenance book- brake fluid is to be replaced every 2 years
regardless of mileage. Now, we all know that here, but it's in big bold red letters on p4 of the booklet. I've had the car since April '03 and it's never been done. should be a slam dunk.

Good timing for you.... When I had my inspection...
Dannny @ KMD knew where to look being an Audi Shop employee for years. He went right for the passenger side rear of the engine. The Cam seals all had oil stains as did the rear of the valve covers.
