Oddly enough, I'm familiar with California's lemon law. I bought a VW GTI VR6 in 2002. It was a lemon so they gave me another one which ended up having problems.
I decided to trade in our other SUV for the allroad thinking that nothing could possibly go wrong with Audi.
I'm hoping this isn't round two with the lemon law.
Hang in there and thanks for your response.

Default Same here....started at <2000 miles

And I got it in last week for tire rotation, balance, and 4 wheel alignment. I didn't think to ask for a printout of the alignment results, and I don't know if they did the subframe adjustments.

But this is an annoying problem. My wife refuses to drive the allroad until the pull is fixed. And THAT might interfere with my plans to trade in her 02 a4 on an S4, and give her the allroad next spring. I'll keep after the dealer, and keep you all posted.

Default Its funny but my car pull to the right when new up till I had the brake rotors replaced,

and to be honest, I forgot about the pull untill now. the three thing that have changed since are the brake rotors and pads, new wheels and Mich A/Ss, PSK rear bar. Could be a draging brake.

That's interesting
Is your car new, or were the brakes worn when you found this out?
It's definitely worth checking out.
Thanks!

I'm starting to think this might be some sort of a design flaw. People are having trouble with tire wear and pulling.
I'm not letting up on this. As a matter of fact, I'm going to take a few of these posts with me so I can talk to my sales rep. who told me how "rare" my case is (while the technician told me how common it is).
Hmmm.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks to all.

Default I have had no recurring problems.

I doubt there's a design flaw... but good luck solving your problem.

Default The brakes would pults when applied after a long interstate run,

to the point that it was down right nerve racking, in day to day driving it was only noticed with a very light pults, when brakes were cold, then it sounded like a rock or nail was in a tire. This all started at about 4k, rotors and pads changed at 12k, wheels and all by 16k.

Default Tell me...is this a pronounced pull, or if you leave the steering wheel centered, will it gradually

go to the right? Please be more concise.

Default Most roads are crowned so that any car will pull slightly due to gentle slope toward shoulder...

for rain drainage.

Some cars may experience the phenomenon more and you may be more sensitive in a brand new car? Just a thought.

Can dealer reproduce the problem when they drive it? Is it reproducable on every type of surface?
