Allroad...ride and handling?
Here in Sydney we dont have the A6 2.7T (yet) so im currently torn between the Allroad and the A6 4.2. I think I would be happy with either car, though they are so different from each other.
My concerns (I havent had the opportunity to test an Allroad yet) are whether the adjustable air suspension on the Allroad comes at the cost of ride and handling - and, secondly, how it compares to the 4.2 in these two areas.
Would you guys have any thoughts or experience on this? Thanks in advance

Oops, and one more question...S-Allroad??
Just wondering if there have been any news or rumours of Audi coming out with an "S" verion of the allroad. That would be so cool. Biturbo V8 maybe?

I believe it does cost handling, but not ride. In fact I wish
That my level 1 rode like level 3 (remember air bag suspension) so when pumped up, it stiffens up, when deflated it doesn't give the added firmness. I just picked mine up but am going to start investigating how to make this thing feel better at setting 1.

Nope, no reason when there is an S6 and a soon hopefully released RS6
The S cars are a bit more performance oriented while the Allroad is utility oriented, although some of the owners don't quite believe that

The ar and the A6 4.2 are very different vehicles.
The A6 4.2 has an entirely different front clip from other A6's to both make room for the engine and to improve the handling characteristics. I would say the two cars are as comparable as an A4 and an S4.
