Anybody corrected front camber on a lowered allroad?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/50925/img_2055.jpg"></center><p>Howdy:
I have previously posted about chowing tires on my beloved allroad and need to reduce camber.
This issue is self-induced by lowering my car (14mm front, 10mm rear)
However: my vanity will not allow me to return the car to stock ride height (chicks dig it!)....does anybody have a fix for this?
It appears CPP upper control arms have durability concerns on a daily driver (per Stasis). I have also heard of KMAK (KMAC?) bearings, is this a solution?
Any other options that I might consider?

I would argue chicks can't tell the difference, and that you're doing it for the guys.
At least the chicks I know. No offense meant. We're all competitive, and from some perspectives, 'mine's lower and corners flatter than yours' is just as important as 'mine's faster than yours' or 'mine's more of a sleeper' etc. However...
I would suggest returning the car to stock ride height and if you really need the 'aggressive' stance, lower the front 4 mm. I put my car back to stock height, and it looked high to me for about a day. The ride, tire wear, and driving characteristics are so much better, I'll never go back. I can not overstate what a revelation it was (when I bought the car it had been lowered). Stock level 1 now seems plenty slammed to me anyway.
Besides, that wheel and tire setup is so bad *** why would you need another gun in the knife fight?

Re: Looks like I wont be lowering my car after reading your mess. Plus
If I had to change the camber on my ar I would examine the inboard mounting holes for the lowercontrol arm/ball joints.. The straight ones. Then I would drillnew holes , or enlarge the existing holes so they were adjustable. Have an alignment shop set up the car, then weld in washers to strengthen the area... I would not purchase a car that had altered like this. but it is your car and your choice

Chicks: "Wow, cool wagon!" Guy: "yeh, i lowered it, too."
RIIGHT
Dude, you are driving a mom's car with a sweet engine and interior. 'People' know th' allroad is cool 'cause it goes fast and hauls people and cargo with a 6 speed. Chicks dig 6 speed manual transmissions. 'Check out the ratios on that one.' you'll hear them say.
Chicks think... um, well I don't know what they think. I know they ain't thinkin' "wow, check out the slammed station wagon!"

You can't set camber (stock) other than to equalize it side-to-side. (this came up a while ago)
