Are anyone else's headlight patterns bouncing?
The headlight pattern (not fog lights) "bounces"
when I hit some bumps in the road indicating
that some adjustment needs to be done to the
headlight mounts. Does anyone have any thoughts?

My left beam appears to "jiggle" a bit during normal driving - right beam stable.
Just started noticing this in the last few weeks though it really hasn't bothered me. Should we be concerned? (thought my LASIK eye surgery was failing) ;>

Sounds like you guys need to put bras on those cars...sorry, couldn't resist :^)...seriously tho--
there was recently a discussion about this on the A6 board, and it was decided that it was "normal." Can't say I've ever seen it happen with mine, though.
Here's the link to the A6 board:<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/102472.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/102472.phtml</a</li></ul>

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (snort) GOOD ONE!! YES, WE ARE WELL-ENDOWED 8-P
It appears it is just another of those little idiosyncrasies that us allroad/Audi owners have to be patient with. I'm not going to worry about it until the light falls off ;-)

Safety in numbers!.....
They are suppose to bounce as you drive - they're constantly adjusting. You can notice this more if you catch other cars with Xenons driving past. Not to worry! 8-)
"Vibration" or "shake" while stationary is slightly different; My '99 A6 Xenons did this - the dealer eventually replaced them because one went out. My AR does it ever so slightly when aimed close to fixed object. But other than that I don't notice it at all. I also have a 2000 BMW 5 series and it's Xenons do the same - It must be fairly normal... 8-)

Here's a stumper...
I've got the same situation, had it in my TT as well, but I figure it's a function of the self-adjustment. Real question is: Do we perceive the beams as bouncing because they're NOT bouncing? That is, are our eyes expecting movement either A) where we are getting none or B) where we are getting a damped or otherwise _modified_ movement? Hmmm.
