I would only trade with someone local, meet up 1st and try a swap. If both our cars have the same ECU# (from a 2001, 4Z7.907.551)and all goes well we can arrange to meet up in NH if needed

I have that exact and I mean EXACT same setup. Gutted piggies, tests, and I have a 2001 MT with the -551 ECU code (I looked at it again last night). I do have K04's, but I think I'm going to MBC and homebrew my way to more boost (cheap).

I, in turn, have an 01 MT ECU with APR Stage 1 for trade.

I will gladly provide shipping, and put it again to the board for free if it doesn't work out.

Going with an EPL custom tune. Between the Aquamist, ACVr EBC and well a ton of other mods I've outgrown the APR sauce.

I'm looking for a fresh ECU, I'm told that APR is hard to overwrite and I'm trying to avoid any hassle with the custom tune I plan on getting from EPL

later on, I just had to re-install windows on my laptop and need to install Office 2003 and set up my e-mail.

and as soon as I work out the details I'm going for it. You can't beat the price and I just don't want the 800$ I put into APR software to get overwritten (if it can even be done). I'd rather trade it than that!

The GIAC tweak file will work much better than the apr k03 file when used with k04s.
