Default AoA update...

45 minutes before going into surgery (titanium hardware removal from a collar bone break) I get a call from a AoA supervisor.

The dealer is telling AoA that since I bought the car with bald tires, I knowingly gave up the certification. uh huh.

I told the AoA advocate supervisor that I'm not stupid, that I wouldn't have forgone the certified warranty just to save a couple of bucks on the purchase of the car.

She seemed to understand that tidbit of logic. I then told her that the onus would be on Audi to protect the reputation of the certified program, and put pressure on the dealer to either replace the car, or give me the frickin' money back.

tomorrow is a new day. I have 2 lawyers I'm consulting with about this case. Anyone care to refer me to a third? I'm in LA...

Default FYI.. How did you pay for the car?

If you financed it, your bank may have some legal leverage as they have a "defect" to their security.

Default 29,500

and another thing...

the service advisor sent me to their "sister" audi dealer with an internal document that showed the internal cost including the certification was 28,900. Damon traded it for 27,500...

Default search the archives of the S4 forum for Mr. Torts

He's an LA lawyer who helped several Audiworlders lemon their S4's in about 2002.
