Arnott front shock snapped and punctured my air spring!
yes that's what happened... at a speed of 5 mph
I heard a pop and pulled into a parking spot asap. then watched my AR bow
I will be posting pics from the dealer by sat pm hopefully.
as you can imagine, I am not very happy about this.
let's see if they step up and take care of me.

air spring got puncture by the shock and you still have time to pull in a parking lot and watched lower itself?
for a puncture like a shaft from a broken shock it would just drop instantly.
interested in seeing some pictures.
the adapter on the shock shaft came unscrewed!
the puncture was small at first but then became big and BAM
the bowing allroad
lucky I parked asap. fender flare is torn up from tire and air line was compromised
if this happened at highway speeds there would have been major problems
so far Arnott is stepping up and taking care of me
I will report when all is well
I hope they pony up to help you out on this one. I think a bit more than just a replacemnt shock is due to you considering...
The top part of shock tube undid itself or the nut securing shock absorber mount came loose?
The latter (nut) incident happened before. The person who it happened to found out that during the installation a plain nut was used instead of nylon lock nut. It was his shop screwing up.
Not enough that nylon lock nut should be used but you should also go crazy with thread lock on it as well as well as impact wrench the guy leaving no chance for it to move.
