Default Arnott Gen II Fronts

I did it!!!!

Thanks to Allroad-Dave and others that have posted instructions and tips, I replaced my front air springs with Arnott Gen II's myself. Very straight forward. No problem with the pinch bolts (I soaked them overnight with PB Blaster). The first side took about 3 hours, the second about 1 hour. The ride is better.

A note: When I first noticed the leak, I put "Fix a Flat" in the air spring. It did stop the leak. Not being sure how long it would last, I still did the replacement. When I removed the leaking air spring, it was easy to see where the "Fix a Flat" had seeped through the crack and sealed it. The repair looked as if it would have held for quite some time. The leak was on the inside, where the spring folded. FYI

Thanks again to all who posted instructions and tips!

Any feedback on feel from these compared to stock.

I'd say the ride is firmer. The shocks are stock, so no big change in the dampening. The performance is more to my liking, tighter and firmer.

Excellent! Now I wish I would have done the fronts myself and saved the money paying to have an indie do the job.

Good for ya!
