Arnott Gen II Fronts
I did it!!!!
Thanks to Allroad-Dave and others that have posted instructions and tips, I replaced my front air springs with Arnott Gen II's myself. Very straight forward. No problem with the pinch bolts (I soaked them overnight with PB Blaster). The first side took about 3 hours, the second about 1 hour. The ride is better.
A note: When I first noticed the leak, I put "Fix a Flat" in the air spring. It did stop the leak. Not being sure how long it would last, I still did the replacement. When I removed the leaking air spring, it was easy to see where the "Fix a Flat" had seeped through the crack and sealed it. The repair looked as if it would have held for quite some time. The leak was on the inside, where the spring folded. FYI
Thanks again to all who posted instructions and tips!
