Default attn any of you Denver allroaders running 18's:

saw these today, looks like a decent deal if the seller moves even a little bit on the price.

FWIW, they are not mine, no relation to the seller, just passing along some info I saw.

http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/325382453.html</a

Default Thoughts vice Sport Maxx's for $632?

Is this a smoking deal? I actually just called discount like 10 minutes ago and locked in a quote for $632 for the sport maxx's, based on TireRack's online price.

I have heard bad things about these Conti's.... any positive opinions considering price and availability?

Default only OK on the price, they are loud and they tend to follow groves in the pavement

other than that no complaints. You are welcome to take a spin on mine to see what you think.

I though Tire rack had had those at around 100 or maybe 120 per corner when I picked mine up.

Default Sport Maxx's are loud?

I've had them in 2 different sizes and they were both quiet.

Default Roger - I am accustomed to trammeling and noise. quote at discount...

...was factored in with tire rack's shipping, road hazard, and then Boulder tax. I'm not complaining.

Seriously, the sales rep on the phone had the tirerack website up as we spoke!

Default The hankook icebears were quieter than for former 17" contis that I took off for winter

I was really surprised...order a set of the Sport Maxx's from Tire Rack for $121 each ($540 including shipping). Now to decide who will mount them. (close, fair prices, quality work)
