Hi! I've got a problem with my Audi A6 Allroad 2003, 220k km. Neither I or dealerchip has found out what the problem is, so I'm now asking the big web!

So, when starting the car, usually everything is okay, and all the lights goes on and off as usually. Suddenly the car would gain rpm, from 8-900 to 12-1400. Together with this the ESP (cirkle-arrow with triangle and !), ABS and the suspension level light turns on. After a minute the car goes down to the regular rpm, and the ESP and ABS light turns off. The suspension level light is on until the car turns off. This happens mostly when the car is cold, but also sometimes when it's hot. Sometimes everything looks normal, and I start to drive, then suddenly it gains rpm, and the light comes on.

Today I tried to change the brake pedal switch, but no results (the lights could indicate that there's an error with it)

Please help, I'm desperate as it seems so wrong...

Last time we checked, we didn't get up any codes. Guess we'll have to bring it back to the workshop to get it read..

If I may guess, a poor ground connection

Vacuum leak around the intake boots will make for a high idle. Or the secondary air pump leak. Check your vacuum hoses.
