Brake light switch maybe, but maybe not...
I have the 3 light error and after a little reading picked up the switch. A little concerned since my switch had threads and most pics and info never mentioned threads. After I dropped the dash parts it all made sense, the 2001 Allroad, like many things on this first year of the car, was different. Fairly easy installation but new switch didn't clear the dash lights. Old switch didn't feel bad, when the plunger is down a switch can be heard. So what am I doing wrong or is there another part that is faulty. When the issues first started I heard some sort of switch or relay under the dash trying to work but after a few times just stopped.
