light switch issue

Now I almost went 5 month without any issues regarding my car, so tonight it decided to make sure I dont get bored. I have the light switch with the automatic headlights, I believe it is 04 and up. The "auto" sign is usually illuminated constantly when the car is locked. When I left my buddies house a few min ago I noticed that it was flickering and now it is off. I am assuming that the bulb burned out or whatever illuminates the switch. I'll take it apart tomorrow. Anyone know how that switch is illuminated? The rest of the switch is fine.
