Default You obviously have not owned a V1 before. Once you get used to it
you could never consider a passport.

My vote: V1

Default As someone who owns a passport...
I would say V1. A good friend of mine owns a V1 and it is much better than my Passport. I *might* get marginally better range, but the other benefits of the V1 (knowing where the signal is coming from, a clean interface into the fuse box) far outweigh this.
