Before you guys lecture me on how the car already weighs a freakin' ton, I'm just asking for your thoughts on the <B>aesthetics</B> of the idea... I think it would look rather sweet and could complement the already matte pieces of our allroads.

Would a carbon fiber hood that fits on an A6 2.7T fit on our allroad? I doubt if there is one, but I was just thinking about it after seeing this post from the S4 forum with these pics...

and ours is already aluminum (I believe the sales geek told me this so this is suspect info) so the hood is already fairly light.

but I like the idea... you could do the whole front clip in carbon, with a reverse hinge...
