Default Dealer says the transmission fluid was a little low, cleared the codes

test drove for 2 miles and it is working fine. The service manager is taking the car home tonight (15 miles) to ensure the problem won't occur right after we pick it up. He is also going to run vag logs to and from his house.

Hmmm, seems a little too easy to me.

Spoken like a true allroad/Audi veteran owner! I hope that's it, though.

Default What was the fault code to begin with??

Noone likes doing the Torque Converters on the Allroads, but they have been known to go bad. Just follow all of your avenues so the problem doesn't persist. Is the trans leaking anywhere, since the fluid level was low? If it's gotten low over time there should be a reason. Trans fluid isn't as consumable as oil, coolant, freon, etc. If some is mising where has it gone.

Not tryin to cause doubt in anyones repairs just want it to get fixed correctly the first time. I hate seeing anti-dealer rants and a trans prob is a good way to get one started.

Best of luck.

Default hope thats all but

It usually has to be 1-2 quarts low to cause a slip, I am thinking if it comes back from their drive home ok, perhaps at least pay to get the filter and fluid changed. the clutch packs have slipped and the fluid is probably a bit burnt
