Default Did my first driving event on Saturday.......I'm definately

a noob when it comes to this, and now I'm hooked. Went out with the local chapter Audi Club to a race track for a morning session of Drivers education and an afternoon of a little auto cross. As a first timer this is something I would recommend to anyone who hasn't done this sort of activity with their Audi. You learn what your car is capable of (to a certain degree) all in a safe enviroment. I also found it very easy to participate in this type of enviroment especially since I had no idea what to expect.

Now just waiting for the next one.

Default I'm feeling you on that one, K2

I did my very first driving event last month at VIR, and had a great time, as well as having a great experience with the allroad and its capabilities. Although I can't wait for the next DE, I think I'm limiting myself to 2 DEs a year, only because they aren't the cheapest of things...

Default I remember it well...

my first autox...the course was to tight for the allroad so I managed to "rearange" a lot of cones, after my second go, I gave up. It was a BMW Auto-X and they made a very tight course, even the GTI's and Jettas that day were going with one wheel in the air.

But Limerock...now that was an experieince that I will savor for a long time. Peraps one day I'll get back on it. It's a blast.

Default The 2 allroads held their own on this course . .

Best time was 50, put in by an un-moded A3 (great woman driver). K2 and me were running 53-54.

I ran a 51.55 w/o ESP, but the car was all over the place, and with penalties, my time would have been around 5 minutes!

Default Hey, we ran 52 I thought on our last go around.......

don't be adding time that wasn't there ;-)

If I remeber right you had 2 in the air on one of those corners, I wish I had snapped a pic of that one.

Default Okay - I stand corrected (you did 52)

Speaking of wheels in the air, I did a lot of two-wheelin' on the slalom course, I'm told.
