Default DIS Appears to have crashed

I have a 2001 allroad, while driving today the Drivers Information System appears to have died, the section that displays stereo info, temp, and fuel consumption etc have stopped working. The screen still works as it still tells me to put my foot on the break while selecting a gear etc...is there anything i can do to sort this like a reset or anything or is it back to the dealer and get my wallet out?

Many thanks,

Phill.

On time I thought that mine had broken also. All I did was press the button that turns it on and off "reset button" diffrently. Try to press it down quickly and it might turn on or press it down for a while either or should turn it of or on. Hope this helps you out. If not just ignore the message.
