Does anyone have unlimited Carfax access? I need a VIN pulled.

FYI! Carfax is not that accurate, we did trace a VW Passat and a BMW3, all newer models and we knew
that both cars were involved into accidents that required some serious work.
Carfax didn't show anything, they both came out as clean as a whistle, even though the accidents occured over 2 years ago. So I'd advise a bit of caution.
The reason why I'm absolutely sure about this is because I know the Body shop owner who fixed these cars.
My guess is that the "don't ask - don't tell" method still applies in certain cases. So take a Magnet with you if you go car shopping ;-)

Re: I am not buying, but rather selling. I picked up a Mountaineer from
a local bank as part of a company bankruptcy. I am putting the vehicle up for sale and usually just run a Carfax as "info." I take the information with a grane of salt and agree with what you both said.
