Ok, ok...so I didn't drag any allroads this weekend (or ever)...but damn, you guys have nothing to talk about...since you don't yet have any 4.2 allroads to bitch about yet...I thought I'd try to stir the pot a bit and claim V8 superiority over your measly artificially pumped up V6s...

Just giving you a chance to air it out a bit and post your V8 kills and such...

It's funny that audiusa still shows the allroad 4.2 as a 2003 model and that it will be here this spring...I wonder what the real reason for the holdup is...

Default Hmmm... if I hear correctly, sounds like you're replacing your big V8 with a little 1.8T!

Soon you'll be dragging sub 2.0 liter normally aspirated engines left and right. ;-)

Ok, in all seriousness, sorry to hear that the silver 6 has gone. When do you get it's replacement?

Default Early July...when...

I arrive in NY for the inter-employment hiatus...it actually works out perfectly as I won't have to rent a car for weeks (which sucks and costs a lot of $$$), plus we can drive it out to Arizona and visit friends along the way...

The only glitch is driving the Outback for the final 2 months here The wife and I will probably share the S6...although if I got the brake lights fixed on the CRX, I could use that

Default Has anyone actually ran an S6 in the quarter mile yet?

Probably, not since they're so slow

I kicked Wicked Wagon's but on the Parkway a month ago

Default Yeah, I have...did it myself...14.3-14.4s...good enough for me... :)

Via G-Tech...which has been independently shown to be pretty damn accurate (ask Ming).

Oh yeah, 161.5 is pretty fast too...can't wait to get it out there with the RS 6 wheels on it...I think I can get it to go 168+ with them on there!

I won't bore anyone with the 161.5 pic this time!

Wicked Wagon was just afraid to hurt his new engine...he'll be out for some kickin' allroad a*s soon!

Default But it's got a lot of ugly surrounding it!

I'd still take one though...no matter how ugly it is...it is probably quite a sweet SUV!
