2001 Guzzi California EV - gone, too nice

Noted....
Loved the old SuperSport, but that was in my younger days when I lived in NH and had lots of great back roads to ride on. The smoke red R90S replaced it.
You noted in your skiing response Chicago. Where are you? I'm in DuPage Cty. Plan to take my 3 1/2 yr old skiing in WI a couple of times this winter before our trek out to CO in March, where weh learned to ski last year.

I'm up in Lake County, northern burbs. Where do you ski in wisco? I've been to Wilmont but didn't enjoy it and thought the lift tickets were over priced

Granite Peak....
in Wausau. Not great- just 700' vertical. But new ownership last season and they've undertaken some renovations. We go up there because there's a new hotel that opened last year with an indoor waterpark- Lodge at Cedar Creek. Kids love it. Will probably make the trek up there with one or two other families. Kids can ski part of the day then play in the water park along with those who don't ski. Lift tickets are still pricey, but at least the area is family friendly.
I grew up in the Poconos, went to college in NH so i'm used to having ski areas within an hour or two from home. Chicago doesn't have much to offer without a 300+ mile trip or hopping on a plane.
