Electrical Problem
Audi said their was a short and corrected it. 3 days later; same problem. My car has been at the dealer for over a week and they can't find the source of the problem.
I don't know what to do. Please advise.
Go to car electrical specialists if you want a permanent cure, not a regular dealer.
A short normally affects one thing, usually blows a fuse in the process.
A bad ground/loose earth connection can affect multiple items, which I think is the cause in your case, causing all sorts of unpredictable feedback problems.
Could also be a faulty "IC" on a control board, dry joint etc. hence the requirement for a specialist. Generally they will replace a component only, garage's tend to replace an entire unit with horrendous costs incurred.
Are you still under warranty?
Even if you are, go to the specialist.
Just my €0.02.
Good luck.
If you get stuck, ship it to Ireland,
and I'll fix it (for free)
