Default ESP test concluded...

I did notice a bit better off the line performance with the ESP turned off. The yellow light is annoying but throttle response was better. I'm going to try and see if my gf can tell the difference. I would like some confirmation from some of the other allroaders on the board to see if this is real or all in my head. I think that the ESP retards the fast get up and go responses so that the car is more docile and doesn't get away from you. Either way, I still love Herman.

Tar, that's interesting and thank you very much...you supplied a great excuse to drive around tonight instead of stayin home and pay bills. Anyway, I'll check it out and let you know my impression. Is yours tip? Mine is.

Default Yup. Mines tip as well.

I was driving last night and turned off ESP and I could notice it even more. It was especially prevalent in stop and go traffic. I'm going to keep playing with it and also talk with some of the service technicians at Momentum Audi and see if they know of any solutions without turning ESP off. If anyone has information about re-programming this I would really like the information. I'm not sure if one would do this through the VAG software but it wouldn't suprise me if they could.

Messed around with the ESP, and like you... it seems a bit different but, maybe its imaginary. I'll keep playing with it, especially next time I drive some small mountain roads. Also I have my 5k service next week so I'll speak with the techs. I'll keep you posted.
