You share experiences with your car, you have many memories -- good and bad -- tied to your car. It triggers emotions and can get your adrenaline pumping like nothing else can. You feel like there's a balance, a symbiotic relationship with it that must be respected and developed over time.

What's irrational is thinking that a car can love you back.
