First day with 4.2 AR
This car is a gem. There is'nt any suv can give you the luxuriously sporty feelings. To me, it handles better than the E-class 4 matic. The qualities are no less than the MB. Yes, you hear a little bit engine humming, and it gives tiny rubber sound, but I still feel good in driving it. The brake feels on soft side, but it stops the car mannerly. After I remove the partion net, the cover rollbar, and holddown big net, the cargo space looks spacious, and 50Lb lighter. I put 98 miles in one day. I drove about 90 percent on city roads and 10 percent on 45 mile zone. The Ar performed 19 average mpg with 5 parkings for my job and one shopping stop. I do'nt know the reliablity yet, the solid feeling, the inside layout, the materials used... It is a good wagonsuv indeed. Except the old empty cd changer still lies on left corner in the back( why Audi did'nt make use it), I got nothing bad to say for my new car.

V8 powered Audi's are generally as reliable as the competition
Of course, there are some exceptions. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but the frequency of a V8 powered Audi's reliabilty being higher than the competition is the same as the frequency of a V8 powered Audi's reliability being lower than the competition. Anyway, good luck with your new Allroad 4.2.
